Nuestras dos ediciones son obras derivadas construidas sobre textos de dominio público. Los derechos que reservamos alcanzan solo a lo que hemos puesto nosotros:
No alcanzan —ni pueden alcanzar— al texto bíblico base, que sigue siendo libre. Ver la parte II.
El desarrollo de esta obra queda registrado con fecha, capítulo por capítulo, en el historial del proyecto y en sus documentos públicos de cambios.
Nuestras ediciones se construyen sobre textos libres, que siguen siéndolo en sus fuentes originales. Nada de lo que hacemos aquí los cierra:
Si lo que quieres es el texto base, no necesitas nuestro permiso: búscalo en su fuente. Lo que reservamos es solo nuestro trabajo sobre él.
Los textos base son de dominio público, pero sus nombres no siempre lo son. Por eso nuestras ediciones llevan nombre propio y no el de sus fuentes.
«World English Bible» es marca de eBible.org
Su licencia permite copiar y modificar el texto libremente, pero pide expresamente que si se cambia el texto, el resultado ya no se llame World English Bible. Nuestra edición inglesa sí introduce cambios —ajustes de fidelidad y mayúscula reverencial—, así que se llama DABARION English Edition (DBN-EN): no es la World English Bible ni está avalada por eBible.org. La WEB se nombra aquí solo como texto base, que es su uso legítimo.
La Reina-Valera 1909 es de dominio público
Su nombre no está protegido, pero nuestra edición española se llama DABARION Edición en Español (DBN-ES) porque el texto está modernizado y ajustado, y llamarla «Reina-Valera» daría a entender otra cosa. No es la Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960), que es propiedad de Sociedades Bíblicas Unidas y cuyo texto no se usa en esta app.
«Dabarion» es nuestra marca
Dabarion y las siglas DBN-ES y DBN-EN identifican esta app y sus ediciones. El permiso para citar nuestro contenido no incluye el derecho a usar nuestro nombre para identificar otro producto, edición o servicio.
Trabajamos capítulo por capítulo. Todo cambio busca fidelidad y claridad, sin doctrina y con reverencia. Nada se hace en silencio.
Cada idioma habla de su propio texto: una nota en español razona sobre la lectura española y el original; una nota en inglés, sobre la inglesa. La lista de cambios crece a medida que revisamos cada libro.
Esta edición la dirige, la decide y la firma una persona. Lo decimos aquí porque es parte de lo que un lector tiene derecho a saber sobre el texto que está leyendo.
En su elaboración se usan herramientas informáticas, incluida la inteligencia artificial, como instrumento: para cotejar cada versículo con el hebreo y el griego, para localizar diferencias entre las lecturas y para preparar propuestas. Pero ninguna palabra entra en la lectura sin una decisión humana explícita, tomada versículo por versículo y registrada con su razón en los documentos de cambios que puedes consultar. La autoría, el criterio, la selección y la disposición de esta obra son humanos.
Las ilustraciones se generan con herramientas de imagen a partir de descripciones escritas que salen del propio texto bíblico, y se aceptan o se rechazan una por una comparándolas con esa descripción. Cuando una imagen no dice lo que el texto dice, no se publica.

¿Lo quieres usar en tu iglesia, tu clase o tu ministerio? Escríbenos y hablamos. Este proyecto existe para que la Escritura se lea, no para ponerle puertas al campo.
No hay cuentas ni registro. No recogemos, no almacenamos y no enviamos ningún dato personal. No hay analítica, ni rastreadores, ni cookies de terceros, ni publicidad.
Lo único que se guarda queda en tu propio navegador, en tu dispositivo, y nunca sale de él: el idioma que elegiste, el tema claro u oscuro, el tamaño de letra, la vista del lector y por dónde ibas leyendo. Desaparece en cuanto borras los datos del sitio.
El texto bíblico va empaquetado dentro de la app, así que la lectura no consulta ninguna web: funciona entera sin conexión. Tampoco enviamos correos ni te pedimos una dirección para usarla.
Alcance editorial. Esta app reporta lo que dice el texto, con su referencia y su atribución. No ofrece interpretación doctrinal, no toma partido en cuestiones disputadas y no sustituye la enseñanza de tu congregación ni el estudio de las fuentes.
Errores. Trabajamos con verificación automática y revisión versículo a versículo, pero una obra de este tamaño puede contener errores. Si encuentras uno, dínoslo: se corrige y se documenta.
Sin garantías. La aplicación se ofrece «tal cual», sin garantías de ninguna clase, expresas o implícitas. En la medida en que lo permita la ley aplicable, no asumimos responsabilidad por daños derivados del uso o de la imposibilidad de uso de la aplicación.

The base texts are public domain, but their names are not always free. That is why our editions carry their own names rather than those of their sources.
“World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org
Its licence allows anyone to copy and modify the text freely, but expressly asks that if you change the text, you no longer call the result the World English Bible. Our English edition does introduce changes — fidelity adjustments and reverential capitalization — so it is called DABARION English Edition (DBN-EN): it is not the World English Bible, nor is it endorsed by eBible.org. The WEB is named here only as the base text, which is its legitimate use.
The Reina-Valera 1909 is public domain
Its name is unprotected, but our Spanish edition is called DABARION Edición en Español (DBN-ES) because the text is modernized and adjusted, and calling it “Reina-Valera” would imply something else. It is not the Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960), which belongs to the United Bible Societies and whose text is not used in this app.
“Dabarion” is our trademark
Dabarion and the abbreviations DBN-ES and DBN-EN identify this app and its editions. Permission to quote our content does not include the right to use our name to identify another product, edition, or service.
We work chapter by chapter. Every change aims at fidelity and clarity, without doctrine and with reverence. Nothing is done silently.
Each language speaks about its own text: a Spanish note reasons about the Spanish reading and the original; an English note, about the English one. The list of changes grows as we revise each book.
This edition is directed, decided and signed by a person. We say so here because it is part of what a reader has a right to know about the text in front of them.
Computing tools, including artificial intelligence, are used in its making as an instrument: to collate every verse against the Hebrew and the Greek, to locate differences between the readings, and to prepare proposals. But no word enters the reading without an explicit human decision, taken verse by verse and recorded with its reason in the change-documents you can consult. The authorship, the judgement, the selection and the arrangement of this work are human.
The illustrations are generated with image tools from written descriptions drawn from the biblical text itself, and each one is accepted or rejected by comparing it against that description. When an image does not say what the text says, it is not published.

There are no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no third-party cookies, and no advertising.
The only things saved stay in your own browser, on your device, and never leave it: the language you chose, the light or dark theme, the text size, the reader view, and where you had got to in your reading. They disappear the moment you clear the site's data.
The biblical text is packaged inside the app, so reading queries no website at all: it works entirely offline. We also send no email and ask for no address in order to use it.
Editorial scope. This app reports what the text says, with its reference and its attribution. It offers no doctrinal interpretation, takes no side in disputed questions, and is no substitute for the teaching of your congregation or for study of the sources.
Errors. We work with automated verification and verse-by-verse review, but a work of this size may contain mistakes. If you find one, tell us: it gets corrected and documented.
No warranties. The application is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the application.
